Friday Five 1

This is my first time doing the Friday Five! It reminds me of old deviantART memes where you'd tag all your friends to answer some questions in their journals. And I've been craving that old web community and feelings. So here I am.

1. What is your all time favorite book?
I've always had a few favorites. Only recently can I say that my all time favorite is probably This Is How You Lose the Time War. Its fast-pacing and strange and familiar and crazy world almost put me off, but it quickly grew on me.

2. What is your all time favorite movie?
For the longest time, it was PS I Love You, but now the first Spider-verse movie is probably my all time favorite. I've seen it a billion times. Both of these movies make me sob like a baby.

3. What are you reading right now?
Night's Master by Tanith Lee. I'm invested--not only in Tales From the Flat Earth (its series) but in Tanith Lee in general. How is she not as famous and  s Anne Rice or GRR Martin? I've never read a better written fantasy. It's so poetic and fantastical.

4. What is your favorite show on TV?
I can rewatch The Vampire Diaries no matter mood. Of newer TV, I'm not a free-thinker at all lol and I adore Severance.

5. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?
Fast and Furious 7--an anniversary showing. Fast and Furious is a guilty pleasure of mine. I know its cheesy and silly sometimes, but I keep coming back to it.

I've heard about This Is How You Lose the Time War but I've never read it, maybe it's time to add it to my wishlist *checks the summary* Yep, definitely adding it to my TBR pile!

Also, Fast and Furious <3 Is it ridiculous? Yes. Do I love its utter cheesiness? Also yes :D

Hi, welcome :> Yes I'm loving Tanith Lee!! I just finished Night's Master today haha and I will be reading more of her books ASAP.

I'm glad to spread the gospel of This is How You Lose the Time War. It's a fantastic read, but a short one.

Do you have a favorite Fast and Furious movie? I like 7 a lot and Letty is my favorite <3

That's even better! Sometimes we're in the mood for longer books and sometimes we're into shorter (but still lovely!) stories ^o^

Letty is my favourite, too :D And while I love the first movie, of course, I think that my favourite is 8, with the freaking nuclear submarine XDDD Although F9 with the ISS is also crazy and delightful C:

Yeeess!! F8 is so good with the submarine scene and I loooove seeing Dominic take on the entire team and kick butt!!

tanith lee <3 can i say i still have most of her "claidi journals" series on my bookshelf? i have few physical books but i consumed those when i was in school and still have the much destructed secondhand copies i got from library weeding back then 😊

I just looked into Claidi Journals ^_^ I've added them to my to read list. Lee has so many books to explore
